BRC Research Rated Best

The presentation of the research entitled “Genetic diversity of musk deer population in Pakistan” carried out at Bio Resource Research Center, by Innayat- Ullah Malik, a Ph.D scholar was adjudged as the best at 31st, International Congress of Zoology held at Muzafarabad (19-21 April 2011).

The research presented by the scholars coming from all the universities and research institutions was judged by the jury of eminent professors coming from the different institutions of the country. BRC presented 7 of its recent researches concerning Himalayan Grey Goral, Bioacoustics, Genetic diversity of Asiatic bears, diversity of fecal micro flora, and Molecular detection of Trypanosoma and changes in avian communities.

Ghulam Rasool Channa, Director BRC termed this achievement as an honor for BRC’s associates and regarded it as a proof of distinct research output of BRC.
